ubinam on demand GmbH has been founded on 16.1.2006 by Giuliano Visintini and Claudia Weigl. Its principal office is located in Wessling, Germany. ubinam on demand GmbH has acquired all rights and dutys of the Siemens Tracking Solutions business from Siemens AG in April 2006.

We offer web based B2B asset tracking services with a focus on logistics and security industries as an Application Service Provider (ASP), as well as the consumer market. The service is live since 2002 originally as Siemens Tracking Solutions, the software release 4.2 is currently in commercial operation. ubinam on demand is active in the following applications segments:

• Logistics: Container monitoring, tracing and geofencing to optimize swap body usage in a large logistics centre and to predict the truck arrival time.
   
  
• Security: Alarming and tracing for bank security purposes (eg in case of bank robberies), and for object protection (eg ATMs and building machines).
   
  
• Life Security: Supervision and localization of elderly / handicapped persons or VIP who wear a specific wireless control module.
   
  
• Consumer: The consumer application addresses families for locating their children and pets.
