Inexpensive tracking solution for transport companies
Ubinam on demand has developed a new tracking solution for transport companies. Through the mobile phone installed in the truck, the dispatcher can localize the truck at any time. This inexpensive solution works without costly additional hardware and permits fast and efficient localization. A number of transport companies already use our new solution to optimize their logistics and control their trucks.

Security for the Police
The upgrading of the cooperation with the Police is effectly be done. We are proud that the 4th contract has been signed. Our technology has been successfully inserted in localization stolen cars.

Localization for Gebr. Weiss
On 1st of August the successfully cooperation between ubinam and Gebr. Weiss subsidiary Company called inet Logistics has started. Ubinam makes the localization platform available to inet Logistics and inet uses it to observe successfully their high-quality goods.

Aviation, space travel, satellite navigation at the economic region Munich
A study made by the IHK and ubinam about the economic region Munich was presented.
Mrs. Claudia Weigl, manager of ubinam, was part of a panel discussion with Prof.Dr. Klaus Wittman, DLR, Prof.Dr. Günter Kappler, Expert and author, Prof.Dr. Rudolf Schwarz, manager of IABG. The subject of the discussion was the actually deficit of skilled employees in Germany. Ubinam presented a special education strategy for training new blood in the own company.

The migration of the Siemens Tracking Solutions Service to the new ubinam hosting facilities in Munich is completed.
The new site has a security certification by the German Authority BSI (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik) and it offers an improved infrastructural availability.

ubinam on demand releases "ubinam Tracking Live" V4.3.
This new version offers an improved user interface for security forces. It makes use of three different type of resource grouping and it improves the communication channels between users and control center. Thus it extends the flexibility of managing teams in static and ad-hoc groups, thus it is especially useful in emergency situations.

The „Oktoberfest-Special“
Great campaign for the „Oktoberfest”. Ubinam developed a Mobile Phone-Chat for expanding the Friendscout24-Community. This application allows the user to chat with people at a radius at 150 meter for free.

Workshop localisation systems for people with dementia
On 15th of September ubinam offered at a workshop during a day of the dementia society “Fünf-Seen-Land” at the “Ilse-Kubaschewski-Centre” in Starnberg about localization of people with dementia. The localization is done by GSM and GPS.

ubinam presents at the RWTH alumni meeting. About 30 RWTH alumni took the initiative of Dr. Edgar Jochheim of the Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO) and enjoyed an interesting event. Talks about new companies in the field of satelite navigation and discussions about method transfers to other industries and applications guaranteed an exciting and sorgten für einen spannenden and informative evening.

ubinam on demand presents tracking services at the "Unternehmertag" in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, on 11. November 2006. The event was hosted in DLR by the entrepreneurs' association UWS from Starnberg and the Economic Development Corporation gfw. About 150 guests got informed about future applications of the Galileo satelite system.
