Senior System Integrators – Digital Radio Systems (m/f)

For the industry practice Telco / Communication Technology we are looking for Senior System Integrators – Digital Radio Systems (m/f), to fill present vacancies for a project based in Ulm .

The main duties include:

The central role of the system integrator is in the phase of the system realization. On base of product implementation-, integration- and test concept system, he/she integrates the system elements to segments and to the system. Analogical he/she operates with the implementation-, integration- and test concept support system for the integration of the support system. If necessary in both integration cases needs to be considered external units.

• Installation, integration and support of a system or support system (base stations, switching centres, NMC, test platform, etc.),
• Error detection during the integration,
• Interface coordination inside the segments,
• Preparation of segment tests inside the development and system tests in front of the client,
• Support and acceptance of external units,
• Preparation support of the training material and user documentation,
• Support of logistical activities/processes,
• Support of the laboratory model- and prototyping inside the development and production,
• Preparation of the test environment.

The successful candidate has the following qualifications:

• General qualifications
• Degree in the area of digital radio systems
• Several years experience in system integration of digital radio systems (GSM, GSM-R, UMTS, TETRA, Tetrapol) 
• Skills and practical experience of the basics and methods of project management and the process model VM-XT. Preferable level C IPMA certification
• Detailed system engineering skills (TETRA, network engineering)
• System skills regarding design and functionality
• Skills of development-, integration- and installation procedures
• Extensive employment knowledge of the system
• Qualification to design on existing concepts and the ability to become acquainted with external mindsets
• Communication skills with developers and operators
• Engineering support of sub-clients
